Once the asset has been acquired, the asset management begins - this is of paramount importance for the actual generation of the cashflows. Further important value levers can be set in motion in order to significantly optimise the returns during this phase. Goodyields Capital takes on an active management role during this process.

Immediately after acquisition, the post-acquisition integration phase begins (PAI), for which the investment team is also responsible. During this phase, value enhancement measures (e.g. through economies of scale, purchasing optimisation etc.) are conducted. Even after completion of the integration phase, value levers are set in motion, for example by extending the economic life of the asset or by ensuring high availability of the systems while minimising operational risk.

Finally, the returns are generated by the asset management, ensuring that the same attention is given to this process as the investment process itself.

Within asset controlling, reporting has an important role for the precise control of the assets and the portfolio as a whole and also serves as regular aggregate information for investors.
